Tim began his career as a young investment advisor in 1987 with Merrill Lynch after graduating from Bucknell University. At Merrill Lynch, he was an early adopter of Financial Planning to help clients create an individualized path to pursue their financal goals. For over 20 years, this planning approach has helped clients fund college, retire and provide for thier families. Tim earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation from the Wharton School to improve his investment skills. Recently, he completed the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation program to better help his retirement plan clients comply with their fiduciary requirements.
OSJ Manager, Financial Advisor
Shane joined BenchMark Advisor Networks in December of 2004. He graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a B. A. in Natural Science and Mathematics. Since joining BenchMark Advisor Networks, Shane has passed many FINRA Exams including the Series 7, 63, 65 and 24 exams. Shane’s responsibilities at the firm include all aspects of supervision for our Advisors, keeping up with firm policy along with FINRA Rules and Regulations, and he also works directly with the home office in California. He has served on several boards in the community and has served as the President for the Pittsburgh Chapter of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors). When he is not in the office Shane is usually spending time with his wife and 2 daughters or watching a Pittsburgh sporting event.
Christy joined BenchMark in March 2008 and now is Compliance Coordinator and assistant to the OSJ Manager. Her role is to help new and existing Advisors and Administrative professional with all aspects of business processing. She assists in training and on boarding of new advisors and their assistants as well as on- going support to the Regions Advisors. Christy works hard to help the Advisors stay compliant with all on- going Compliance requirements and serves as a first point of contact to our Region.
Sue is the Administrative Administrative Assistant for BenchMark Advisor Networks. She has been working in the financial-planning industry since 2011 and joined BenchMark Advisor Networks in Spring 2017. Sue works directly with transitioning Advisors and Administrative professionals to provide comprehensive support and assistance as well as on-going support and assistance for all region Advisors. She coordinates the annual BenchMark Regional meeting held each May and also the BenchMark Region of the Cetera Advisor Network conference held yearly in July.
